Sand casting
For over ten years now, we have been a market leader in the production of aluminium sandcasting heat exchangers for the global heating industry. In addition to this, we also manufacture for other markets with applications for sandcasting products. Some examples here would be the sustainable energy, medical, automotive, mechanical engineering, construction and defence industries. Under contract from our customers, we manufacture heat exchangers to their product specifications.
High-quality technology
At this time, we have special product casting technology that is unique on the market. Our experience, technical insight and partners enable us to create this complex core of intensive products. In 2008, we became the world’s first ASME-certified foundry, so our customers can also sell products in the US.
In addition to our high level of technical expertise, we also enjoy a strong organisation. We are able to manufacture hundreds of different products and to operate flexibly in this process. We cast our products, ranging from a few hundred grams up to 50 kilos, in one go, and can even cast up to 200 kilos. Production batches can be started up quickly and changed as needed, without affecting quality.
Sand casting is a craft. This ancient technique has now become so modernised that you can cast in different metal alloys on an industrial scale. The mould is manufactured using a model. Sand casting is often applied for smaller series, but also in automated processes for larger volumes. It is excellently suited to casting products of medium to large dimensions with a relatively low investment. Any changes to the form of the mould can typically be applied without problems.
